100% Natural & Vegan Cold Processed Soaps
Handcrafted soaps infused with Positive Intentions, Reiki Healing Energy & a whole lot of Love
I create these nourishing bars with high quality essential oils, healing herbs, and flowers very specifically chosen for their physical, emotional and spiritual properties. The oils and butters that I use are rich with vitamins and emollients, and I formulate my recipes to fulfill my desire to have a soap that acts as a cleansing agent, moisturizer and skin conditioner all balanced into one. Because as lovely as it is to lotion or oil myself all up after a shower, I don't always have the time, energy or patience to do so. My soaps will leave your skin feeling clean, refreshed and healthy – showing your inner glow to the outer world.
The majority of the soaps that I create are face friendly and contain ingredients that are beneficial for sensitive skin, acne, scars, and wise skin - unless otherwise noted.
My all natural cold processed soaps have no detergents, toxic chemicals, artificial scents or coloring. They are made through a process called Saponification – a reaction in which the building blocks of fats and oils (triglycerides) react with lye (sodium hydroxide), transforming into glycerin and soap. Glycerin is a skin replenishing and restoring ingredient. It is found naturally within your skin, and helps to establish a normal balance and hydration. These soaps are safe for the environment, healthy for your skin, and are incredibly moisturizing.
Cold process soap typically cures for 4-6 weeks or longer. The longer the soap cures, the harder the bar will be and the longer it will last. All of my soaps cure for 4-6 weeks before I make them available for purchase.
Keeping your soap bar dry between uses will make it last longer.
A side note about soap colorants - All of the soaps that I create acquire their color according to the herbs, oils, and other natural ingredients (such as activated charcoal, kaolin clay, and fruit/vegetable powders) that I put into them. Absolutely no synthetic coloring agents or chemically treated mica powders are used.
